LeBron James out vs. 76ers with left knee soreness

[ad_1]

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James won’t play on Thursday night in their game against the Philadelphia 76ers and is considered day-to-day with left knee soreness.

Though Lakers coach Frank Vogel didn’t sound too concerned before the game in Philadelphia, James appeared rather upset on social media.

James dropped 33 points with seven rebounds and six assists in Tuesday’s 106-96 win over the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center, which marks the third game in a six-game road trip. Tuesday was the 18th straight game where James scored at least 25 points.

The 37-year-old has averaged 29.1 points — his highest output since the 2009-10 season in Cleveland — 7.7 rebounds and 6.3 assists in 36 games for the Lakers so far this season, and had appeared in 25 straight games before Thursday night.
